Nice.. how is that fuel issue? Change the fuel filter yet?

I bought one
Looked online at the install process
Returned it the next day

If I have problems with it I will change the o2 sensor. But....it's $80 so, probably not.

Car has been running horribly and has had the CEL on for about 4 months. Took the car to have it tested at AutoZone. FML.

They guy tested the battery, alternator, and starter. All tested out 100% fine.

My check engine codes, however, well.......have a look

Yep.

Just going to take it in finally, get raped on shop charges, and be on with life hopefully.

Thats pretty much the consensus I'm getting. I need an oil change first so that will definitely be done. Im going to start with the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Already did the sea foam about a month ago. If those don't work I'm going to try O2 sensor and possibly clean EGR and new fuel filter

Most likely getting rid of it either way. I'm just saving the resale value by making it run halfway decent

Haven't updated in awhile

Last weekend SiRWannabe helped me do a tune up. New spark plugs, wire set, distributor cap, and distributor rotor. Car runs much better. CEL is still on though because of a bad O2 sensor

Put some work in today to "prepare for winter" aka put my car back to stock

-Swapped grill from Mugen rep --> OEM 96 grill
-Swapped PWJDM red fender washers/bolts --> OEM washers/bolts
-Swapped SiR bumper signals --> OEM orange signals
-Swapped FFC battery tie down --> OEM battery tie down
-Polished up the WS2 to mirror finish :coolguy:
-Reinstalled factory fender liner on drivers side now that car is raised
-Lengthened intake to make it CAI again rather than SRI
-Touched up all the rust with Heather Mist Metallic touch up paint

Front end of the car looks so much more different now that it is raised, has orange bumper signals, and the oem grill Sad Side view looks ghey because of no ITRs + dent/rust. At least the rear end still looks pretty fly for a white guy Smile

Didn't take pics of the entire car yet, it got dark out. But....here are some of the polished WS2 Very Happy

What looks like imperfections or marks are actually the concrete driveway

Thats all for now

i'd would have kept the SRI. the salt on the roads are going to rust your filter. and snow & slush stays around longer than rain water. food for thought

But it was off of D's car Rolling Eyes

I wouldn't mind condensation on the right one though.. my depos are like that every time after it rains. if I trade for yours, I might apply some silicon sealant if that would help.

they look decent over here.. would love to replace mine with them. I'd appreciate that Smile

maybe one day you're in kankakee I can drive down or something.

Some time. Maybe this spring or summer.

Here's my reasoning that I keep telling people:

I've just come to a stopping point to where i finally like my car and the mods look good. but.....to do anything more is going to take some serious cash. (body work, wheels, swap, boost, paint job, interior, 5 speed swap, etc etc)

I want something faster. which.....with how slow the accord is, thats not too hard to come by haha. Primarily I want something turbo, always have. Range has to be under 10,000. I've been tossing around ideas of a mk4 gti, 350z, mr2, etc.

I want a car that is fast, looks good, sounds good, and sits low from the factory, and with it being newer.....I won't have the temptation to mod it (yet)

I also want something newer....so i don't have to worry about little things that will nickel dime the car to hell like this Accord has done.

If I keep my car, I WILL end up doing everything to it listed in the first part up top. I just can't figure the practicality in it any longer with how much work it needs

At this point...to move forward at all is big money. Like thousands of dollars big money, which with a 15 year old daily driver, its not worth it when it's only worth $2,000
