Anyways, it looks like the wife will be busy during most of Saturday with our child at a baby shower, so I might actually try to go to this. Been awhile since I've been on, and can now re-focus more time on my car now the dust has settled from our child being born.

Take LSD and take the center lane, it has the fewest potholes, whatever you do do not take the outside lanes, they are even nightmares for cars at stock ride height -.-

ive got a shit ass RCA on a tripod, but its more for personal use. it would be emBAREASSing to represent ourselves with. but if all else fails i'll have it.

The meet is on Sunday, not Saturday

haha, im going low too so ill go slow...ish

i know the chitown roads enough when it comes to potholes and railroad tracks. i work in the amtrak yards. roads havent been fixed since the late 70s. BAD

I scoped out the montrose harbor area today just to familiarize myself and cruised up and down LSD. Was refreshing.

LSD is definitely low friendly within the middle two lanes, just if you're northbound getting on and off the chicago river bridge, the ride may be a bit bouncy.

If we want after the meet, we can cruise down LSD and park in front of the Field Museum for pics, I know the route. And lower whacker is shit full of potholes and closed completley, so that's not an option.

They'll probably kick us out of the field museum and lower waker wasn't closed last weekend.

1. They'll definately wont allow us at the field museum for no reason. "Pay for parking or gtfo" is what they'll say
2. I have a fellow 8th gen from chicago coming for sure. He's from my8thgen and his screenname is 1-vt3c
3. I finally put springs in my car (until i get coilovers) and I'm finally riding with no fender gap

Heading up to Chicago today with my dad to just see the sights and enjoy the city.

I'll be on the lookout for road conditions
