good people or place specialize in H22A swap?

Hye there, Im currently owning a 95 accord lx, runs on sticks. planning to drop a H22A into it. but I don't know how and dont have the right tools. i heard dat i just need to have d h22a motor only if my stock engine is F22 series with manual tranny. any idea where to get the motor only at a good price? any suggestion on d best place or people who cn help me with the swap? at a cheaper price? in indianapolis.

id like to see an intro thread. you can get entire swaps from many different places online. just google it. hmotors, zerolift, theres a place in new jersey. they sell the entire swap. as far as getting it done. you have come to a near road block as i did. there is southside customs on meridian street but i garentee they will charge you an outrageous price. like 3k for the swap to be done..

the entire swap usually costs about 2k-2.5k

theres another guy on indy rpm who will install it for about 2k.

so your looking at 3.5k-4.5k to have the swap done

Id do it for 1000

As for the motor.....TRU motorsports on the southside of indy had an H22 engine (no trans/distributor) in their shop as of about two weeks ago. Asking $1000, but the guy working said the owner would probably take around 700 for it if offered

That price is just the motor. No install

TRU motorsports is located near the intersection of 465 and 31 (East street) on the south side

All they have is the motor in their showroom. It's only a store, so that would only be to purchase the engine, then install it elsewhere

No tru is selling the engine they don't install. And personallly that is a horrible deal. Then you are left to buy the diZzy motor mounts axles transmission Ecu plugs wires alternator all in all it would cost more than way. Just buy the swap from hmotors and pay someone

You can use the stock accord transmission, axles, wires....almost everything. Its a direct swap

yes you can use the accord axles but the preludes are a little bit longer. and yes you can use the tranny with a f22 tranny-h22 engine plate. im not sure about plugs and wires. because its a different dizzy. mostly yes it is a direct swap. but then again not really

It's a direct swap if you want to cheap out and not swap over new parts or upgraded parts. Of course most people always DO upgrade, but you can most certainly just drop solely the engine in and call it a day.

That's all Geoff did to his and his has ran fine since. F22 Trans, Stock harness, Stock axles, etc

Better off to do it all at once otherwise u will more then likely run into problems which will leave you carless. And more timr and money In the shop. Do it rigjt the first time

i wouldnt. h swaps arent easy, and the wiring is difficult as well, you need to mod the ecu and if 1 thing is wrong goodluck pinpointing it afterward

Same wiring harness and just get an H22 ECU

i believe you have to splice the 2 harnesses together from the h and the f. and you have to switch pins in the ecu

WELL JOSH IM SORRY BUT WE HAVE EXPERIANCE IVE DONE 3 H SWAPS AND 4 F22 SWAPS AND I HAVE DONE AN 07 CHEVY AVEO ON MY OWN SOOO UHHH I CAN PRETTY MUCH DO ANY SWAP AND YEA LIKE I SAID ME AND MY GUY WILL DO IT FOR 600 AND MY OTHER GUY WILL WIRE UP THE VTEC FOR 40-60$(IF ITS NESSESARY)

the short has nothing to do with the egine u fuxkin idiot i did my swap over a year ago car still starts runs and drives fagget its electrical has nothing to do with the motor its in the actual entire car wire harness not the engine harness
